Position Georgia School of Orthodontics as the foremost source for exceptional, top-quality orthodontic care for residents of metro Atlanta, with particular focus on Gwinnett County, central and northern Fulton County and northern DeKalb County. This includes public relations, community relations, social media, advertising and other marketing program initiatives.
Our research effort consisted of collecting background information, including demographic data about Gwinnett, Fulton and DeKalb counties. We conducted secondary research on various outlets in each county to determine the most effective way to reach the target audience.
- Collaborated with local consumer media (including bloggers) to provide GSO corporate, industry trends and community relations news.
- Developed relationships with trade publications to establish GSO staff and faculty as thought leaders by capitalizing on relevant topics and GSO news.
- Built brand recognition through the strategic placement of advertisements.
- Developed a relationship with the local Purple Heart recipients’ families and metro Atlanta families who could not afford oral health care.
We were successful in raising awareness about Georgia School of Orthodontics by securing 14 consumer media hits in six different local publications within 10 months Furthermore, we secured seven trade placements in prominent national industry publications. These combined with successful wire placements of GSO releases helped garner attention for the school while helping drive business and help recruit new residents for the school’s residency program which is now the largest orthodontic residency program in the United States.
