Establish brand awareness for a boutique, specialized staffing firm in a Top Ten DMA where the competition is already high in quality and quantity.

  • Establish GAN’s brand presence in metro Atlanta
  • Position GAN as a thought leader among the media and greater Atlanta business community
  • Support GAN’s efforts to acquire new clients and drive revenue through various marketing communications tactics

Research

Rountree developed an integrated communications campaign aimed to generate media coverage, third-party endorsements and direct leads, and establish the CEO as a thought-leader and an expert source for the media. Research efforts included Identifying key financial/business media, trade and business associations, and CFOs across various sectors to help establish a base of business.

Implementation

We employed a marketing communications strategy that included community relations, social media, media outreach and key influencer meetings and provided specific messaging for each media outlet and association. A list of unique editorial pitches were developed which resulted in media coverage by major outlets in metro Atlanta. An awareness campaign on LinkedIn drove hundreds of new Atlanta followers and strengthened its likes and posts which helped drive website traffic and improve the company’s SEO.

Results

Rountree Group’s very effective media outreach initiative resulted in reaching a combined circulation and UVM (Universal Visitors by Month) of 520,000+ with one wire release. Additional media appearances included GAN’s CEO being featured on one of the world’s top five CEO-targeted business blogs, as well as in Atlanta’s top business print, broadcast and digital media outlets. On the LinkedIn platform, we garnered almost 11 new followers per day for an 8-month timeframe. We saw a significant increase in post likes, followers and engagement.
